Did you know "Greensboro" is named after Revolutionary War hero, Nathanial Greene?

"My idea was let's name [the brewery] Nathanial Green – but that really wasn't marketable. So we changed Nathanial to "Natty," still paying homage to the namesake of our city," explains President and Owner Chris Lester.

Opening in 2004 as one of only 26 breweries in the state, Natty Greene's holds a pivotal place in our state's craft beer history.
