About the design
This year’s NC Pint Day design brings the spirit of North Carolina to life through an illustrated celebration of music, beer, agriculture, and community by Asheville-based artist Sadie Tynch!
Wrapped around the glass is native wildlife and botanical elements from across the state–joining hands in a joyful dance and sharing beer.
Each character represents a different region of North Carolina, from the blanket flower of the Outer Banks and the great blue heron of Eastern NC, to the black bear of the Western NC and acorn for the City of Oaks. A white squirrel, brook trout, red wolf, and even a playful opossum round out this lively cast of locals. And don't miss other subtle nods to our state's agriculture, wildlife, and landscapes in the background!
Our 2026 design is a visual toast to the ingredients we grow, the wildlife we share our home with, and the people who come together in taprooms across the state. It’s a reminder that NC craft beer isn’t just about what’s in the glass—it’s about where it comes from and who we share it with.

Each year, NC Pint Day comes to life thanks to the incredible talent of our featured illustrators. See the collection!
2025 NC Pint Day artist: Juan Marante
Our 2025 limited edition pint glass was illustrated by the talented Juan Marante, known as El Gran Tocayo. Juan is a self-taught illustrator, graphic designer, and art director. With over his 20+ years of experience, he has worked with and designed for companies such as Reef, Fox Racing, Billabong, Nike, and a variety of surf shops, skate shops, and – of course – breweries!
For our 2025 design, we highlighted the beauty of our state – all the way from the mountains to the coast! The left side of the design features the beauty of western NC, highlighting the mountains, disc golf, and a sign honoring our WNC neighbors. Transitioning to the right side of the design brings us to Carolina’s beautiful beaches, featuring surf, sand, and the Venus flytrap!
2024 NC Pint Day artist: Christen Lucas
Christen Lucas is a North Carolina-based artist and illustrator. If her name sounds familiar to you, it's because she designed the winning label art for Lenny Boy Brewing Co. in our 2023 Label Insanity Competition!
