The left side of the glass celebrates Western North Carolina’s enduring spirit following the devastation of Hurricane Helene. The design honors the communities as they continue to recover and rebuild. The state’s official bird, the cardinal, and its iconic dogwood flowers also make an appearance.
The right side of the glass transitions to North Carolina’s beautiful beaches, featuring sandy shores, ocean waves, and the Venus flytrap, a rare plant indigenous to eastern NC.
